I have 2 of the sabres, what I don't have is the sterile sabre. Damn you Derik and Cbear and whoever else has them.
I really like my 16.
Great general purpose knife.
But still no 9 lol sry BiggHoss
It seems that it doesn't really matter which tweener your gonna buy first, because the others are going to eventually follow. I myself am leaning towards my first of the three being the 16 with the 15 to follow but I might get the 10 first and a five is going to have to be bought also.
Cbear I'm impressed with "smexy". It's a good word to add to a knifes description.
Of course a smexy 9 will be added as well. I hope your ok with me using your word Cbear, I'm trying to think of other avenues to use it. My wife thought smelly and sexy shouldn't go together.
Not to change the subject but have u all every actually paid attention to the 3 lol from a FF/Medic stand point I wonder how long it would take to extricate someone from a car with that thing lol I can see punching thew a windshield with that thing and using the serrations to rip/cut the glass out then whacking the crap out of A&B posts then cutting 2 pivot points at C post and having a new convertiblelol
... The thing that got me to try the 15 as my every day general use knife, was the fact that most say it doesn't work well in that role. I'm kinda hard headed, and when someone says something won't work, I set out top price them wrong. After just a few outings with it I came to the realization that the 15 fits me perfectly. Its the same 1095 a the rest of the blades we love, so it sharpens easily, it holds an edge great, it slices nicely, carves great, throws sparks good, I've battoned a truck load with it, and just got done cleaning 14 nice bluegill. Its a great little blade, and it deserves a chance to prove itself in other scenarios besides the kitchen.
Thats my opinion, fwiw.
