Looks to be integral construction with pinned wood handle scales
ricaso stamped 13160 on one side and solingen germany on the other, this side also has a logostamp "pic" with a mountain/icepickaxe above leters.
is this a real one or what? would appreciate any info or comments.thanks.

The number may be a serial number. You could try a search for Hitler Youth knives, including that serial number.

I came on line to check the same thing and mine has exactly the same. That serial number on one side13160. And Solingen on the other with a triangular mark, unless you have sold yours since and I now have it? Highly unlikely lol

What you have sounds like a Fahrtenmesser.
After the war the pattern minus the logo (replaced by a lily) was produced for boy scouts.
It was also the archetype for the german army knife (post WWII).
The german word for youth is Jugend.
So if you google for the Fahrtenmesser of these organisation (german initials) you will find an wiki articel concerning the post war production.
There you find the companies, that probably produced you speciem.
hope this helps
