curious about your "grail knives"

The 755MPR is g10...not plastic.
And mine has performed great despite the slight lock rock.
I use mine for the toughest duties too.
Back on topic... My grail knives would be my Yuna and my Robertson El patron.
Both are users. At least my Yuna will be once It gets here next month.

I'm starting to believe that there's no such thing as a Grail knife or, there are too many. :D

This thread needs more pics.

I agree we need new pics I'd love to post some pics, but my pc is geeksquaded up and I can't do anything with it seems.
Tech support told me how to post pics, I just have to figure out how to do it on a kindle fire. I'm only 30 but computers passed me buy at some point when I wasn't paying attention:confused:

Opinions will definitely vary, however being that a knife is a tool, much like a gun is a tool I'm going to use it. I buy things I want/like to use not stare at. There is no way I'm not going to shoot/hunt with the model 86 Winchester in 45-70 I just spent a few grand on. Funny thing about wants is once you satisfy your current one, a new one hatches shortly

I don't consider my knives and other cutting tools to be jewelry or "grail knives", If I'm spending my hard earned cash on cutting tools I'm gonna use it for what it was intended for. It just wouldn't be fun to not use my knives and leave them to get dusty and rusty.

I started the knife hobby after college. I was interested in different blade material/shape, lock type, and production brand. I had played with some of the "most popular" knives until I got a Small Sebenza Carbon Fiber Insingo. To me, it's a perfect combination of basically everything (blade shape/length/material for EDC use, carrying size/weight, lock strength, unique carbon fiber scale that adds character, and the CRK name). If I were to take one knife with me back to graduate school, this would be the one, though it costs way less than some of the customs out there. And yes, I use it.

Our approach to knives is almost identical. Thought I owned 4 CRKs before figuring out which one I wanted. I just got my small cf Insingo today and I cant think of another knife is ever want or need for EDC. Working in an office building and living in a city centre, this knife is absolutely perfect.

$2000 well spent. Definitely gets carried and used.

All get carried to work and used. Wire, fiberglass ductboard, Sheetrock, paneling, metal tape, etc. Bring it on.

What's plastic on it? I have one and it's got a G-10 handle and ti clip?

Jill, I agree with you and my description was wrong because I was mad. IT could have been a great knife if that one G10 slab was produced at 0.100" thick instead of 0.200" thick. A folder that is 0.510" thick in the grip is one heck of a lot better than 0.610". The difference means I'll never carry it. The blade is great, but BM ruined the possibility of that knife, IMO.
Of course it's not plastic, and I know it. But I have gone so far as to buy a 0.100 titanium slab...to replace the 0.200" piece of plastic...er...G10. Now, all I need are some new skill-sets.
Also, BM was nice enough to send me a new model pocket-clip to replace the original. That old clip was nasty on jeans.
I have owned and carried quite a few excellent BM's over the yrs, including a model 690 with rosewood that was an excellent long-term EDC, although I was never fond of 154cm.
I finally donated that one, with a new factory-installed blade, to deployed military.

I don't buy anything I am not willing to use. Luckily I have cheap taste, Victorinox and Moras make up the bulk of my knives.

I know I have a collector in me as I was that way with firearms, so I will not let myself buy expensive knives I won't want to use hard.

I want a Fallkniven F1 real bad, but have been resisting the urge. My Mora does everything I need, and I just keep telling myself that.

This is my "grail." I carry it every day, enjoy using it, don't care to use anything else
