curious

Great topic.

I am timeless and work with children just like me. I am married to miss cobalt and our two little cobalts. Mrs. Cobalt likes to put a Kabash on my hobies, but I sneak stuff in here and there. Sometimes, I wonder if I shouldn't trade her in for a new and improved Mrs Cobalt. But she scares me so I dare not try. She told me if she catches me cheating she would use my INFI on me. Still Blade Babe might be worth the loss of one jewel. I have too many hobies. I have almost as many bikes as knives and guns and watches.

I will play....

36 year old, engaged, California Bay Area native. I work selling software consulting services (need any?). My love for knives came from my relationship with my Father... after he and my Mom got divorced we connected over things like collecting knives... which made me search for the best and so that brought me here.

Apart from that I enjoy making art such as photography and painting... my latest project has been converting an office into a lounge/bar... well that and planning the whole wedding this for August.

Cheers
sounds like you need a tin ceiling in that bar......lol.... i do barter and trade for busse ya know...lol

riding my Honda SS 750

What is this? I am a die-hard motorcyclist when the weather permits. My garage holds machines from Mandello del Lario, Bologna, Pesaro, and Breganze. When not riding, I like to fish, hunt, or (new fun) do three-gun shooting.

Reared in Colorado Springs, I'm 41, married 14 years, with a 10 year old son and seven year old daughter. I have a B.S. in Physics (Trinity University in San Antonio, 1987) and served as a Nuclear trained officer in the Navy (USS Enterprise). After I left the service, I took a job with Bettis Atomic Power Laboratory and have been with them ever since.

I’m 39 married to the most beautiful woman in the world :) (who is trying desperately to cure my INFI addiction:mad: ) and we have a 2 1/2 year old daughter. I grew up in Florida, joined the Coast Guard after high school. Spent the last half of the 80’s chasing drug runners in the Caribbean. When I got out I moved to Alaska for 7 years then back to Florida and now Southern California. I am a photographer and an IT consultant. One day while searching bladeforms.com for some info on Benchmade folders I saw Cobalt’s avatar and the rest is history.

I am 34.

At present I’m doing a PhD, and lecturing in and tutoring Comparative Politics and International Studies.

Spent ten years playing guitar and violin professionally, but I got tired of the odd hours and inconsistent money.

I started my working life as a sports injury/rehab masseur.

Thinking about getting married, now that the rest of my life has settled into a more consistent pattern.

My interest in knives returned in 2003 after a ten-year hiatus.

Hmmmmm, where to start?

I'm 40, feel like 60 some mornings, if I knew I was going to live this long I would have taken better care of myself. I've been married 3 times and it's true what they say 3rd time's the charm. My wife is my best friend and the only women I've ever been "in love" with. She hasn't a clue about how to understand my 32 years of collecting knives, which I started collecting with my father. I've collected everything I've found interesting, from cheap to very expensive and have landed here in Busseland just last summer. My fasciation with Busse grows much faster than my collection of it but I'm learning to be patient, a must here in Busseland. I enjoy all the aspects of knives. Learning and studing about their design, metal makeup, heat treating, etc

I've worked on cars since I was old enough to hold a wrench, helping my father on many a weekend. It led me into a career of working on them at car dealerships, which I did for 15 years. That led me to get a job at Snap-on Diagnostics as an application engineer, which I've done for 5 years. Still dealing with cars but doing it from behind a desk with a computer, mostly working with the software side of things today. I'm also considering going back to college and getting my degree to teach. Hopefully at a junior college.

I have 2 daughters, 13 & 18 and 2 stepsons, also 13 & 18. They are all fantastic kids and I love them dearly.

Besides my family, and collecting knives, I enjoy the outdoors, camping, hiking, etc, I also have a great interest in physical training and get to the local Gold's gym about 5 times a week. I'm a devout christian who believes in the spiritual side of him more than the religions aspect of it and try very hard to follow in his footsteps in the sand ( most of the time tripping over my own feet ). I've lived in the Bay Area all my life, born and raised in San Jose, but I have managed to see a large portion of these United States, which I love dearly. Yeah, I'm also a flag wavin chest pounding red blooded American, and flippin proud of it!!

And that's way more than I thought I would write.....:o

O.K. here goes - 41 years old, married for 100, err I mean 14. Great wife who actually understands this crazyness about wanting to own every Busse I can afford. Been a L.E.O. going on 21 years. I now run our I.T. and Felony Case filing divisions as well as other assorted tasks that seem to all include auditing. :jerkit: That is of course until hurricane season then all bets are off and I may be directing traffic in some intersection or pumping disel into one of our generators. :( I have 4 years to go till mandatory retirement at 25 years. I will then be heading up to the great state of TN and hopefully working for the TBI. No more hurricanes and closer to the wellspring in Wauseon.
