Curly Mahogany from BurlSource

That's a sweet knife indeed!

A quick question Nick. I am sure you don't send every knife to Coop so why do you send a particular knife to him. Customer paying for it? Personal choice for advertisement's sake?

Good question Patrice-

I came up with a calculus formula that let's me calculate exactly which knife to send... :foot: :p :D

Seriously though, it's just a gut feeling on which ones to send, if there's time, if there's money. This one was actually taken to Coop by the new owner. I just sent one myself a couple days ago though.

When you're not selling knives very much, it can be hard to swallow the expense (except maybe the guy who makes one or two a year, but they're museum quality). For me, it's just part of the grand scheme of things... trying to get exposure to put my work in front of people that don't know it, and keep it in front of people that do. Getting photos by the big pros, will undoubtedly land a guy's work in a magazine, book, or maybe even just somebody's online blog... but it keeps your work out there.

I certainly don't have all this figured out, but I keep on trying anyway. :)

Man, that is beautiful Nick. Thanks for showing that.

WOW! That is an amazing looking piece of wood. And the rest of the knife isn't to bad either.:D
