That's nice. I like that curly maple. How did you get it to darken up?

Actually I was trying for a lighter color than the usual dark,I bought a couple small stain sample packets from the lumber yard. Didn't like the first color so I took a scotch brite pad and wet sanded what I could off.Then several coats of rubbed in linseed oil.
