I do a lot of knives with synthetic handle material. So sometimes it is nice to step back in time and do something a bit more rustic.
This one has curly Bastogne walnut handles (looks holographic in hand!!), a fileworked spine and hammer textured flats.
This is a very comfortable knife and would work well skinning or as an every day carry.
Here are the specs

OAL - 5.5"
Blade - 2.750"
Steel - .125" L6 (Heat treated by me in a digitally controlled Evenheat kiln)
Handle - AAAA Curly Bastogne Walnut
Pins - SS and SS mosaic
Sheath - 9-10oz veg tan, dyed and wax coated
Price - $145 free priority shipping in the Conus (insurance is extra)
Paypal preferred to bentendick@gmail.com

yo- nice lookin' little blade!

btw, that Oregon knife makers thread, I recall you live in Eugene? I go down there maybe once a month.. Coming up in Dec. the Oregon collectors knife show I'll definately be there again.. hope to run into you (not with my truck..) and then I scrolled back up and read your location. Eugene.. I'm quick :) sigh...

I will be there, don't think I am gonna have a table though, can't keep enough knives in stock for one.:)
I will have one at the big show in April though, table I 13.

This one is SOLD, thanks Walt!

Ben, if you ever make another of these - PLEASE let me know. I skinned and caped 4 deer already this season and I would have loved to have that little knife. Awesomely functional pattern. Nice work!

Shoot me a PM Jon, I have another one just like it ready for handles if you really want one.
