This looks like one bad ass knife. Is it possible to get it made in CPM3V? I heard through the grapevine horton uses 3V...which knives does that apply to? THANKS

thanks for visitin,, i have never made a blade in 3v. but it's a very good steel,,,
I use A-2, D-2, S-7, and tryin some O-1 and CPM-M2 have made a knife out of CPM 10v that is some tough stuff

My bad, thanks for clearing that out. I have been reading a lot about knife steels and looking at many makers, mostly custom or semi-custom. I have a edc folder, but i'm looking for a solid camp/back packing knife. I am still not sure about what steel to use. I think i have narrowed it down to A2, CPM 3V, or ???. Some thing that is strong and keeps an edge. What would you recommend for steel? I'm also looking for a blade around 4-5" so i think the blood EDC would fit the bill?

Honestly, I was scratching my head when I first saw the Ice Pick. Now I can't believe I went this long without one. Well, not just any ''one'' but ''That one''. Very cool Jeremy. It really shows off your ''machinist'' side.
