Current production observations...

Lately, I've noticed that most of the Sebenzas, large and small, are a little different than in the past. For instance, the blades are more clip point than drop point, and somewhat longer, with pointy, more fragile tips. For instance, you can nearly touch the tip with your finger while closed. Is someone new doing the finishing grinding the blades? Also, the edge profiles seem to be "smaller / shorter" if that makes any since, but right on at 40 degrees, with the exception of a few small "spots" along the edge. THe anodizing also seems more blue, than purple. No complaints...just curious. I really liked the drop point(ier) blade profile better, but this one is growing on me.

I think the kid has a standard. The anodized studs got much bluer last year. The blade profile seems the same to me, though.

This one was born on 2/29/01 and looks a little different from the others I've had. I've seen some pretty different looking blade grinds on the current Sebenzas, large, small, decorated, and plain. One even looks like a tanto.

I'll try to take some pics before their gone.
