So here I am anxiously waiting on the deliveries of the first knives of 2018. One in particular, a Buck 110 (with leather sheath, $35.00. Who wouldn't) I ordered at the beginning of Dec. for Xmas. Despite being "in stock" when I put the order together after putting the order through they back-ordered me.
OK, plenty of time till the 25th. Ya, right.
I get a shipment confirmation on the 22nd. with tracking number. Which doesn't produce any results. Finally turns up in Fed Ex's hands on the 24th.
By the 27th, it is still in the state of origin, MO.
But they finally get it across state lines to Olathe KS.
Where it sits for another 2 days.... grrrr.
Finally on the 29th, it starts moving west to CA.
Arrives at the FedEx depot in Commerce CA on Dec. 31
24 hours later it appears in the Los Angeles Depot on Jan 1. Could we be getting closer?
24 hours after that, Jan 2, the Package ends up BACK in Commerce CA. WTH!!!!
No scan or location at all today Jan 3.
This is starting to look very reminiscent of a order I placed from Germany. Took the USPS a month to get it all the way from Germany to my local post office where it should have gone out for delivery the next day. Instead they send it back to Germany for "insufficient postage"
Sometimes I think knowing is a whole lot worse than not knowing as far as corporate operations goes.
