Here are a couple of new fighters, both dirks, by Curt Erickson - engraving by Julie Warenski-Erickson. I've always enjoyed his handle styles because they're great to hold - though these two don't happen to be mine.:cool::grumpy:

I thought the first one was a real beauty till I saw the second one! It's like watching one model walk in and then a second one and you almost forget you even fell in love with the first one. That damascus is fabulous, and his grinds are impossibly perfect. I have no more words to tell you how much I like those, particularly the second one. Thanks for sharing.

Man, those are ridiculous.......thanks for the pictures, Bob. :)

As usual, Curt continues to make "perfect" knives. Is that Curt's own damascus? Did not realize he was forging if it is.

Very knice! That damascus bladed one is my favorite!

Kind regards,

Jos

Both exceptional but I kinda like the first more. The ivory is so for lack of a better word warm.

Here is a page in Julie's soon-to-be-printed book displaying one more
of Curt's recent “Fancy Short Fighters”, like the two shown above by Bob...

All the best,
David Darom (ddd)

absolute sexiness.

This was exquisite to capture. What is hard to show, but is wonderful to view in person, is how Julie's engraving on the guard and pins is slightly rounded.

It has a three dimensional appeal.

The owner of this piece is very pleased. He hired me for the image. :) A solid collector.

Based upon what I know, the damascus is stainless ladder pattern and probably Rob Thomas.

I like the damascus dirk very, very much, it is a beautiful piece, beautifully photographed. Thanks Bob for posting this!

No, it's not Curt's own damascus - Curt doesn't forge. Neither did Buster - even though, now and then, someone comes up with a dagger by Buster "rumored" to be Buster-forged.

Thanks for the clarification.

If anyone here knows whose Damascus that is, I think several of us would be interested in finding out.

Again, thanks for sharing these.

ALWAYS a pleasure to see Julie's engraving and Curt's knives.

Thanks for posting them Bob.

STeven, I'm pretty sure you're right on about the origin of the damascus.
