Curt Erickson Ivory Fighter

As mentioned above, here's a 4 1/2" (chute), 5 1/2" and 6 1/2" Erickson fighter, for comparison. A few subtle differences, but all with fitted guards.

My thanks, as always, to Coop for outstanding imaging.

Fabulous knife and photograph.

Really like his new mark much better than the old one

1. This a very good looking knife.

2. It is nice to see the new logo, and very nice to see a different shape to the lugs on the guard.

The only thing that I would want to see different on a knife that I purchased from Curt woud be that the choil/ricasso region be straight, as it is on the chute, that and rounding of the spine and choil region for comfort.

Great catch!

Best Regards,

STeven Garsson

Thanks for the comments, folks.

STeven - I can see rolling the spine a bit, depending on the relative width and length of the blade, but not as a general rule. The narrower and longer the blade, the more I want the choil area worked, moreso than straight. Particularly with the platform Curt uses for his fighters. But the length of the chute does lend itself for those points you mention, even with this platform.
