Got this Curtiss F3 Compact off AZCK a week or so ago. It just hasn't grown on me. The finish is a bit abrasive for my tastes (feels like grippy G10). It's a great knife, but I have some preference issues with it; mainly just the grippiness and the lock up is a little deep for my tastes. Centered with no lock stick. The *slightest* bit of horizontal play if you really force it. Overall, a very solid knife and completely functional, just not that into it. If you aren't totally satisfied with it I'm sure Dave would take care of any thing you find you don't like. Only cut paper with it. There might be a little bit of a roll on the factory edge, I can't tell.
I'm looking for $500, but I'm reasonable, just don't try to gouge me. Not really looking for trades, but I'm open to offers for knives of the same value (I prefer small folders, nothing bigger than a small sebenza). Might be interested in Micro Praetorian T's (Not Ti's or G's, I have a G and I can't make up the difference for a Ti), MSC PTs (flawless condition, mind you ...), maybe some other things ... Possibly a small hinderer... Not sure. I'd prefer to sell it, so I won't really settle for a less-than-awesome trade.
First unconditional "I'll take it" with payment gets it. I take paypal gift or +3%. This is posted on other forums, so just be aware of that. I ship USPS priority (2 days). You'll get a picture of my receipt with a tracking number as soon as I ship it. I can typically ship that day or the next. If I can't (grad student, and I work), you'll know immediately and I'll give you the next day I can ship.
