Curtiss F3 LT medium for sale today. I just received this two days ago from Curtiss Knives. I carried it one day without using it. I did put a couple drops of KPL into the pivot. This is an incredible edc knife. Action isn’t broken in and it’s snappy as hell already. Perfect heavy detent, crisp break and solid lock up. Blade will drop shut with a little shake. Double row ceramic taco bearings. I cut some receipt paper with this one - that’s it. Blade is .124 stock S45VN, 3.4 inches long, scales are just a hair thicker than blade - knife is roughly 5/16 thick . Scales are titanium. D2 lock bar insert. I guess the incentive here is to get one of these without the wait.
The only reason I’m selling this is to order another in a different color. This particular F3 has “Root-beer” frame and hardware anodizing - Think dark bronze with purple sheen when the sun hits it. The marks on the scales were there from the shop - finish is nice. Stonewashed dark brown/bronze/purple.
I greatly detest the color purple. I can’t stand the color blurple, only thing I dislike more than those colors is the name blurple. Unfortunately you can’t really see the full spectrum of finish color when ordering a knife from Curtiss.
If you don’t hate purple you may love this knife - I’m tempted to just use the shit out of it. This is an incredible piece.
