I got this one brand new a few weeks ago, but really wanted a wharncliffe - the killer anodizing clouded my judgement (I'm a sucker for blue anodizing).
It has been carried a few (like 3) times, and I have cut tape to open boxes and to open a couple plastic bags (of mulch). There is a tiny snail trail on the edge of pocket clip. Overall the knife still looks and cuts like new. Dave gets these things SHARP if you've never had one, and it'll keep an edge (still shaving sharp). Great knife, just really prefer a wharncliffe.
Detent is perfect...fires HARD, but doesn't kill your finger. The knife came with the blade just a hair off-center, but not enough to bother me at all. Warranty is transferrable and Dave Curtiss will absolutely take care of you should you need anything. Dave's awesome if you've never dealt with him.
