Curtiss F3

Brand new Curtiss F3! This knife is beefy and definitely more beefy than the F3. The action is exactly what you expect from Curtiss and a bit smoother than my F3 but my F3 is a user so might not be a fair comparison. This is a catch and release to help pay for a grail I recently purchased. I have only flipped it a few times and cut 1 piece of paper to test the edge and it's razor sharp! Comes with everything in the picture including the shirt (size Large)!

I received a few PMs on the difference between the new F3 I have and the older F3. Instead of answering them all in PM I figured I'd answer here instead;

The knife has caged 440c bearings. The blade steel is CPM-154.

Some of the differences I see;

• Blade length is about the same but the blade is beefier and has a usable forward choil.
• Handle edges are all rounded more making the knife much more comfortable to hold and fills/fits your hand better
• The handle feels a tiny bit thicker and feels longer. I'd guess about 1/8 of an inch longer.
• The framelock doesn't have jimping anymore and is instead contoured.
• Framelock has a steel insert.
• Flipper is a new shape and is more ergonomic and smoother.
• Jimping on top of the blade changed and on the button of the handle.
• Lanyard hole added
