Have a like new, unused F3 with a 4 inch blade with optional titanium backspacer by Curtiss knives. Knife has not been used to cut anything but paper to test edge and was carried around the house when I first got it. No marks from me, is exactly as I recieved from maker. The blast stonewash finish is great. I have since switched to my 3.5 inch frag scale F3 for my EDC. Only selling because the 4 inch is just a little to large to carry in my pocket and I am not a belt sheath guy.
Great knife with great detent for flipping. Opens solidly and forcefully thanks to the large 4 inch N690 blade with great lockup. Blade is centered. The steel holds a good edge as my 3.5 inch can attest to. Here are the stats on the knife from the site as far as thickness and weight.
All knives all full titanium framelocks. The titanium is .160" thick.
• Standard frame finish is blasted and stonewash. Optional is diamond or frag pattern engraved into the titanium.
• S.P.O.T. pivot system. Stop pin over travel. This pivot is locked into place with the stop pin on the lock side to prevent rotation and provides lock bar over travel protection.
• Hidden 1/8" high strenth hardened stop pin.
• IKBS bearing system for ultra smooth and quick operation.
• Lock face carbidized for maximum wear resistance.
• Recessed titanium pocket clip with Curtiss Knives crosshairs logo and tip up carry.
• The blade steel is .156" thick, Bohler N690 rc60 and the finish is 2-tone blasted and stonewashed with satin flats.
• Knives feature standard stainless standoffs or optional titanium back spacer.
• Knives will come in three sizes. 4", 3 1/2" and 2 3/4" blade sizes.
• The Large model is 9" opened, 4" blade and 5" closed. Weight is 6.2 oz.
