Here's one I forged Monday. Tried a little different procedure to forge the clip and it worked out better than I thought it would. The blade on this one is 9" and the steel is W-5. Wrought iron fittings and an ironwood handle. 15" overall but 3" shorter that the blade on Jumbo. This is a big knife.

Nice one Ray, I really like everything about it. I have to agree with Bruce you sure can get'em done in a hurry.

I love how you can make a big blade look proportional, either that or those are pony shoes!

Those aren't pony shoes, those were on a real beast. Think the shoes are 7" across.

For some reason I've felt driven even harder on making these last few knives. I thought Jumbo would take me twice as long as it did and this new one went even better. Guess over the years I've made enough mistakes that I'm finally getting quicker at fixing them.

WOW!!!! Ray Thats gotta be my favorite blade ive seen to date. Laugh if you want for me saying it, but its very Orcish.

Orcs were the goblins from Lord of the Rings so anything "orcish" evokes images of being carried by Orcs. Duh (just kidding- good to see some people aren't geeks)
