Cuscadi Scales are in! Do I have everything?

Have you been in contact with Luke the whole process? I'd be emailing him asking him if there were any issues or anything. He was kind of silent during the process and wasn't checking his emails, but sent me a confirmation that it was delivered and has responded to my questions since. Was it a custom job or something? As in, was it not something he normally does? That's a long wait. I've noticed the average for Luke is between 2 weeks and a month and a half.

Ohhh, must have gotten stuck at customs or something. That's happened with his scales too. People talk about having to wait up to a month or two simply for them to clear customs x_x. What does the tracking info tell you?
 
It was not possible to reach the recipient, the item was scanned. The item is either being delivered to United States of America or being held for pick-up.

If it's being held for pick up then you can go to your closest post office (it should be the one listed on the tracking info) and grab it. If they weren't able to reach you it probably means it had to be signed for, but no one was there to sign for it, so they brought it back to the post office for pick up.

It doesn't say anything about a PO. And usually when something is held for me I get a little slip telling me so. I have not received the slip.

Eh, I would still call your closest post office. From simple driver error (which occur a lot...) things won't get documented. If you call your local post office they can do some research for you and most of the time can tell you exactly what happened or is happening to the package. They have a lot more detailed information on what happened to your package than is provided on the site.

Apprentice, those look even better on the knife than I expected!! Congrats man, and thanks for the installation tips!

Question: are the Cuscadi scales narrower than the OEM scales? They look like it from the pics, and if so that'd be an added unexpected bonus.
 
I used to get buckets of those German gummy bears (I work for a German company and go over there a lot). They are definitely better than the American ones. Someone told me the German ones don't have all the preservatives and use different colorings.

Oh, and nice looking scales too!

Thanks! And yup. I've put them in front of the OEM scales for comparison, and they are just slightly narrower towards the middle, which is also evidenced by the pocket clip not grabbing my pocket so violently, lol. I think on the ends it is just as wide, but without the bulge in the middle it's better. It's not much narrower, but it makes a difference in how it feels in your pocket. It sits flat on your leg instead of bulging into it...

Whoa, interesting. I guess that stuff really makes a difference. Gotta love the Germans.

And thanks :) I'm quite happy with them, and how well they keep dirt off of them for being white scales.
 
I sent my Contego in to Cuscadi to get some digital camouflage scales done for it. He received the knife on the 12th of April. I emailed him on the 28th of April to hear what the estimated timeline was, and he said that he'd probably start on it next weekend (they're very buys plus they've got another Contego to build first). That weekend passed about a week ago and i havent heard anything yet.

I can't wait till its done.

By the way, im digging the white Griptilian scales!
