I need assistance identifying the maker of a 13.5" custom bowie. Its a beautiful stag handle with micarta, and bufalo horn inlays. The makers mark is hand etched "CW" and the year "91". I would love to know who made the knife? I would gladly post pictures if someone could also tell me how to do so. This forum does not make it easy to attach photos. I cant figure it out to save my life.

Yea i know i can use those image sharing websites. But i dont, and will not ever use them. Other forums have some kind of attachment setting where i can attach pictures straight from my computer, or sd card and post them right to the thread. I thought i was just missing something. But i guess not. This forum must be to high tech for that.

The forum *does* have a file upload option available, but you need to be a paid member to have access to it, with good reason; storing all those uploads takes up space, so limiting it to paid members keeps it from too much abuse.

^ You don't have to use those image sharing websites, Jim! I don't! It's actually quite basic and simple, using BF's new hosting site to load pictures directly from your computer. All you have to do is click on the blue colored middle tab located on the bottom middle right, titled: "Upload a File."

I'll do it for you. And you can click on "Full Image," for bigger pictures (which is what I did for these examples I'm posting. 166584_1567930878339_7549502_n.jpg 406518.jpg Then just follow the prompts from your computer. I use a Toshiba Satellite laptop FYI. It's easy! Welcome to BF's- good luck! :):thumbsup:9847_763142660381206_34075966_n.png 539763_10200222667464175_485000071_n.jpg 548342_110865532401180_1877754464_n.jpg

If you actually paid any attention you'd realize that he's not a paid member and doesn't have that 'upload a file' button, as I already said to him.
