I bought this knife at a powwow last year, it looks like it could be put to hard use, but was primarily made for powwow or re-enactment regalia, as told by the maker. Comes with a handmade leather sheath. The blade is carbon steel, I don't know what type. I did have the makers card, he said he was from the Lancaster area. I already have a bigger piece by the maker, and am paring down my collection. This would be a great start for anyones custom collection.
