This is a most beautiful, rare custom Barry Dawson.

Damascus finish blade. The blade cutting edge is 10.5" long, the blade is 11". Fully extended to the end of the handle. I don't remember the exact handle material. It looks like some sort of stone. Blue with orange mix...hard for me to describe so I decided to give you a close up picture on handle.

The blade feel perfectly balanced in hand. 11" blade really give a spin chill. It is a PERFECT length I have dream of. 8" is standard length blade for stab but feel short. 9" you will feel you wish blade is a bit longer. 13" is way too long, hard for one hand fast move. Believe me, i hv buy all 8-13" range of blade in size, i found 10-11" its "ideal of cool". You just feel the length is perfect.

The blade is brand new, never use, never cut. A leather sheath is made for it. Has a frog button on it.

I bought it at NYC Custom Knife Show at price $1300 (without sheath), Now I am selling for

$1000 (leather sheath included)

I hope this isn't considered chatter, but this is a one of a kind knife. There were four made, a XL, L, M, and small. I had the medium blade and I take it that's the large blade? It truly is a remarkable blade!!! Pictures don't do it ANY justice at ALL! The damascus is made by Craig Barr and has a VERY nice pattern with the etch. The mosiaic pins are an elegant touch, and personally, I've never seen a jap wrap done as well as Barry does his! The spine work Barry does is amazing as are his grinds perfect and his edges hair scaring sharp. This is an incredible knife! I'm very much surprised it's still here!

The market is down, why keep you money in the pocket waiting for the market to go up?? Currently not a investment market, it is a buying market. Don't make your money stoping, make them moving. Buying a good knife like this one, treat yourself nice for the hard work you have done.:thumbup:
