Custom Beck Survival Knives

What are you looking for for the Beck? I have cash available, but I also have 2 excellent MT's to trade. I have a CFO II #008 Born 08/2003 Like New, plus box and warranty papers as well as tactical sheath. I also have a NIB Hawk #0643. I don't recall the date off hand. Bad news folks! I finally received a response from Mr. Beck. He is no longer going to make the WSK. He is going to designate his time from now to the new year doing home repair and taking advantage of the hunting season. Around the beginning of the new year he'll be back in his shop but he'll be making more "traditional" hunting type pieces. He said he has about 25 WSK's left and again, at aroung the beginning of the new yaer he'll be releasing them one at a time on E-Bay. I'm sure that letting you guys know this will diminish my chances of picking one up, but be forwarned, if I do find them on there I will easily go to 800-900 and maybe more, so happy bidding. For those who want to avoid the "bid war" with me, I'm Doyle614 on e-bay, and I promise not to be greedy. I'm only going to buy 24 of them. j/k. I'm only going to buy one. I've been trying so damnhard to get my hands on one of these that I wouldn't dream of taking the opportunity away from anyone else. Except to get my one that is. Anyway, thought you guys might be interested. Good luck! Remember........around the new year. Possibly just before Christmas.
 
Thats really sad news, I wonder if he is still going to honor the orders that were placed months ago?
 
i think he might. what he told me was that he wasn't taking any more orders for them. i would guess that if he had already accepted your order then you're good to go. for those of us who didn't make that cut.............see you on e-bay.

How have you been in contact will Mr Beck? I have emailed him several times with no replies. :confused:
 
I have a WSK and mine has the smaller companion knife that rides on the
front of the sheath.I also had Dave make my sheath with the tracker loops
and belt loop so you can wear it horizontal or vertical.I almost forgot I had
it as it sits in the back of my safe.

Dang! I knew I should have dragged my feet. I have the original one he made ten years ago I belive, still going strong.
Rest up Dave and take your time. Burn out takes time to get rid of.

I was contacted via e-mail. It took him a while to get back to me, but this was the information he gave me. He apologised for taking so long to get back to me and then he hit me with the bad news. Remember, around the beginning of the new year he's going to put the last 25 he has up on ebay. I don't know how many he plans to release at one time, but I'm guessing somewhere in the vicinity of 2 per month. But I don't know. He could put them all up at once, but I doubt it. I'm figuring at the max it would be one per week, but at 2 per month he would have the knives on market for another year, and as he got closer to the last ones I imagine the demand would make the price jump significantly.

If you already placed your order, but didn't give up any money, then I would try to contact him again if I were you. That way you know where you stand. Good luck folks! We're gonna need it.
 
Where could I get the knife at the bottom. I know it looks like a Tom Brown Tracker. Also it looks like the saw on the back of the blade would actually work to cut wood. The "saw" blade on my Tracker is made for only scoring or cutting into wood to make different types of traps, not actully to cut wood. Send me a private message if at all possible in regards to the bottom blade. I LIKE IT A LOT!!!!!!!!!!!
