Custom Blade for Leatherman Wave

I'm a staples IS support guy and when I needed a set of screwdrivers I picked some "PC-repair kit" out of our European catalogue. Lo and behold ! there were some 5 pointed torx with stud bits in there !! You might wanna check a staples catalogue 'cause I don't know if our american branch carries the same stuff

Good luck on trying to get those screws open though. If you look closely they're 5 pointed, with a stud in the middle. I don't know of any tool available to the public that's like that.
I know I know I'm necro bumping . I apologize . But I just wanted to drop a tip to unfasten a tamper torx . With the tamper proof pin in the middle . All you need to do is find a flathead that will fit on either side of that pin and fit into the torx and it will unscrew easily . Almost too easily for a screw that was made to be tamper proof . Anyone ever find a forger who would make a blade or two for the surge ?

Sheesh....and on a post from 2003....a whopping 16 years ago.

What you need is not a forger but a good grinder and folder maker.

Although some Folder makers can do forge work.....and vice versa. Someone who's familliar with fitting up liner locks is what you really need. not someone who can swing a hammer.
