Custom Bowie 905 LE

Greetings from Sunny California,
Just recently purchased a custom bowie 905 LE, beautiful knife. I don't know much about the BG42 steel and also what would be the best way to store this knife. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Jim

Sandy Ego? Never heard of that place, must be a small town eh? :D I was there once, for 43 years.
Anyway, I would recomend that you store the knife so that it does not touch the sheath. BG-42 is a great steel but what you gain in edge retention, you loose somewhat in corrosion resistance and the chemicals in the leather can do a number on that steel over time.
