I had heard great things about Bryan Breeden and his knives. I want to tell you that they are all true.
I had some ideas about what I wanted in a knife for bushcraft. In a series of sketches and discussions Bryan made my ideas into a great knife.
Steel 0-1
Blade length 5 inches
Blade thickness 5/32 inch
Handle Brown Micarta with brass pins
I asked Bryan to include a small integrated guard into the handle
In Bryan's sheath attached to my Maxpediton SaberCat.
It feel truly sweeeet in my hand. Bryan makes the most comfortable handles!
I am terrible at making fuzz sticks but this knife makes me look good.
After batoning the knife through a few pieces of wood, it took only a quick stropping to bring it back to hair popping sharp.
If you get a chance to try out one of Bryan's knives, don't pass it up. They are great.
I will have no concerns having this as my primary knife on any trip into the woods.
