I have 34 older Buck fixed blade knives that I am looking to have custom made sheaths for. Please don't suggest A B or C as I have checked many and most sheaths look loosely made and thing on the bottom side of the sheath. I don't want Buck duplicates but something in a dark brown with some black in it. Flap over, regular strap or strap from the side. I would like to see some pictures first. I want to have some sheaths made that compliment my knife. Not someone throws together some sheaths telling me they look great and then be struck with something that 3rd class.
Thanks. No name as I don't want to offend the previous maker.

Honestly, dont worry about offending the maker, if your not happy with their work they do need to know. Most often times the only way to improve your work is to hear that its not up to par. It only stings for a little while, but they are a better maker for the pain.

Although I'm not a sheath maker, I have taken my share of lumps for creative works. I couldn't agree more with what Dwayne said. If it were me, I wouldn't mention the makers name here, but I think he/she should welcome your feedback. Okay, maybe not welcome it per se... :p, but regardless, you'd be doing the person a service by letting them know what needs improvement. They'll either hear what you have to say and act accordingly, or shrug it off and dismiss it. That at least puts the ball in their court.
