I have a custom bucklock with a stag handle and a 154cm blade marked 136 0f 250. It is file worked and is a Wild Bill Coady. bShould I use it, or is it a collector?

Well, if the value doesn't increase, I'd like to use it. I just can't find any information on this particular knife to base my decision on. I can't find anything searching Google. It's either rare, or nobody cares.
Do a search on ebay for Bucklock and check out the BIN prices on the various customs. There aren't any WBC's in Bucklocks right now but you can do a separate search for him and see some of his other work.
I say save it in unused condition. His pieces tend to hold their value as far as I have noticed. But if you like showing off a fine knife to your friends, that is certainly one that will impress.
