Custom CQC-12 Wood

I thought this was a funny picture I got today...Not great quality but the look on my buddy on the left is funny to me. He usually tortures my pal on the right but....

Does anyone have any idea what type of wood this is...or I should ask is anyone sure?

Look at the fangs on that dog! Very cool pic. Your custom 12 looks better with every new pic you take richstag!
 
That satin blade is just delightfull :)

The wood looks like it could be snake wood or curley maple but its hard to be sure with out having the knife in hand.

You should send it to me and then I can tell you exactly what it is :p

Yeah, he has some fangs for his size. the other guy has a set the size of my old german shepherd. The little muts are good boys. Thanks for the pic compliment or knife or both.....

I just don't trust the mail enough these days Haze;)

I thought snake also. I have a boker ak47 knife with snake and they look similar. I was also thinking ironwood for some reason.

It doesnt really matter. It would be cool to figure it out for sure though.
