CUSTOM! DP Eskabar with Tigerstripe G-10

Well done Sir! I really like how you incorporated the jimping right into the Micarta.

Eli

Thanks! Someone also said that earlier but in truth it was just an accident, without the scales covering most of the handle the knife is kinda uncomfortable. Also, since your a kydex sheath maker I thought it might be worth mensioning that this knife also has a kydex sheath...just not a very good one (hey, it was my first attempt) NEW ONE NEEDED!

Beautiful. At least looks far more ergonomic than any BK14 scales I have seen thus far.
Did you not think the lanyard hole is necessary? Is the handle perfectly cylindrical when viewed from its 6 O'clock?

At the time I made this I didnt have any thong tube so I just had to roll with what I had. Also, no, the scales are an oval shape when viewed from behind. IMO, it makes the scales less slipery and much easier to hold. Any other questions feel free to ask.

Hey Guys, So...I'm getting better at convexing and figured I'd try and fix the sack of sh!t job I originally did on my eskabar and as of now the edge isnt bad...Originally it was ok for most people but IMO it was terrible, Gave it a quick sand on some 120 and (after) some 600/1000 (not sure which one it was it was just something laying around) and it is borderline hair shaving sharp at the moment. If anyone is interested I can get a few good pics. Cheers guys and girls.

Nice work. I actually like the pattern the cloth left. Gives it some texture.

Thanks, btw, since when did your sig change color? Thats some cool sh!t.

I actually started that when I made the solid colored sig, just never finished it. I forgot about it, to tell you the truth. Was going through my "GIMP" files yesterday, and came across it. Only took a few minutes to finish it. I thought the effect was kinda cool.
