I contacted Mr. Wilson the West Va. steel salesman and Knifemaker. Seems there was a total information screw up. The steel is 52100 ball bearing steel as used by "Black Jack Knives" and "Marbles". No spark plug steel nor 1011 steel - Thankfully!! Mr. Wilson went out of his way to chat and called Mr. Dula to clarify the information on the steel. So I'm satisfied with the steel, the knife and the Maker. Thanks a million for all the help I got here. I am indebted to you all. Best regards and have a great day.
