This is an unusual Emerson custom, a CQC 9 that can only be described as transitional. It has the domed pivot and nice buff line of an old generation CQC9, as well as the relieved liner and distinctively radiused black G-10 handles. It also has a no-date SpecWar logo. However, it is a zero grind blade, screamin' sharp. If I were to have to date it, I'd guess about 1998, but I could be off by three years in either direction! It is totally MINT, with just a hint of color wear on the pivot. Blade is dead mint and very sharp. Asking a reasonable $old
