Welcome to the forums! and what an entrance! Amazing blade! I especially like those bolsters!

I think you need a knifemakers membership to sell though.

Thank you for your compliments... and your concern about selling on the forums. I do have the membership... paid my dues last week.
Regards,
Dusty

Dusty, amazing work!! I love presentation knives. On the above topic even though you have paid you need to change your usergroup though ASAP hopefully before the mods catch you as I think that can be counted as an infraction. Click on user CP and then the group memberships link to change it.

Thank you! Did find out where to do that... so took care of that!
I am fairly new at all this posting stuff, so appreciate the help!

Welcome Dusty! I have enjoyed handling many of you blades at several Las Vegas shows. You are at the top of my "Want-Don't Have" list. For you guys unfamiliar with Moulton knives they are par excellence .

Its great to see you here.

I talked to you at the Chicago show last year. You are one of the reasons I started making knives. I saw one of your knives in a mag and I thought it was the coolest thing I had ever seen. One of my first knives looks oddly simular to yours. In fact if you took one of your knives, strapped it to the back of a pickup truck and dragged it a few miles down the freeway, thats what my knife looked like.

Im embarrased to show this but here it is, the 5th knife Ive ever made. I made this about 7 years ago.

Anyway, Its great to see your knives here, Im looking forward to seeing more of them.

Hey Dusty! Nice piece, as always!

Nanc says "hey" to you and Carla! :)

Hey hello Fizto, hope that you are doing well, right now I'am layed up on the couch with the laptop on my lap trying to catch up on e-mails. I have got to have my Back fused very soon. I guess that will slow down the knife making a bit. Hopefully not to long, I can't even get in the Bass Boat to do any winter fishing. That really sucks. :grumpy:

Now to the rest of ya all. Michael the knife does'nt look to bad to me  Just keep at it, yes your bolster looks like mine. I have never seen some one copy it before. I don't mind. it is a form of flatery. ;)

Every one else. thanks for the help and great comments. I don't have time to get on any of the forums much any more, and the back problem has slowed me down a bit. So I figured this winter would be a good time to get it worked on, and take a little time to recuperate.

Thanks all
Dusty

Welcome Dusty!!! It's an honor to have you here. I was admiring one of your knives in Knives '05 just this morning! Love your stuff!! Take care of that back so you can get back to 'creating'!;)

Thanks, for the compliment, it's suppose to be 70 here. in a couple of days, and I want to get out away from the house for a few hours, and on the water. The Bass and the Stripers have been bitting well. If the back will just give me a break for a day or so.

Dusty, I sure do wish you well with surgery, and hope you can then can get back to a normal life without the pain and limitations.

If you manage to get in the boat, make a cast for me!

Fitzo my friend, well as you your self know very well, with the getting older thing, it is an uphill battle. One that is hard to be victorious with. The back has still got me down hard.
Thankfully there are a few knives made up for sale. And some how I hope to get some more made. I am wanting to get some of my newly redesigned models made as soon as my back will let me. But from what I am hearing it will take longer to heal the fusion than I can afford to stay out of the shop. Got to pay those pesky bills. So I expect to get chewed out fairly often from my wife, telling me to not go to the shop, but that is very hard for me to do, as there are knives to create, customers to keep happy, and money to make to help pay the never ending bills.
Tell your better half hello from the both of us. :)
Dusty
