Hey everyone!

Just for fun, let's see some pics of custom or expensive knives and their budget friendly or cheap production versions?

I second my extreme hatred for all FAKES (clones implies the quality levels are similar and whatnot too good a title for FAKES). That being said lots of Mid-Tech versions of custom knives are being released as of late. Ramon Chaves is an example his full customs stuff brings $1600+ and his mid-tech sells for around $500 is memory serves, Jake Hoback does the same thing. Tom Mayo licensed out his TNT model to Buck knives several years ago as well. I am not linking pictures as I would rather not violate BF's rules on non sponsored links if you really are that curious you just need a quick google search.

It's ok. You don't need to flashback to some PTSD memories ;)

After the 2nd modern Star Wars (number 5 in sequence I guess) I gave up on the whole thing.
STILL HATE CLONES !!

Force awakens was really good. Need to watch again to figure out ranking- it's teetering on replacing Return of the Jedi for me. It delivers on everything that the prequels should have but failed at.

Kizer just released budget versions of their Laconico Intrepid and Cucchiara Dorado collabs on Blade HQ. G10/VG-10 liner lock flippers on bearings. I've handled the budget Gemini prototype (not released yet) and it was awesome, and I'm guessing these will be just as good.

Laconico Jasmine custom (not my photo):

Not even "mid tech" though, production companies run production versions of popular designs, CRKT has done it in strides.

CRKT - $20 squid after the (Lucas) Burnley Squid design
*(unfortunately my wife would kill me if either came to the house, so if I'm going to die, it'll be for a $800+ custom version)

The Liong Mah Eraser and Crawford-designs - CRKT edition

Gerber did a Hinderer collaboration.

They are out there...

Here are a few a picked up this week, all coincidently with green scales: Buck Striders and a Boker Plus Colubris.
