It is the old production blade, forged by the master knifemaker Yrjö Puronvarsi himself, and not by his grandson who is supervising
the business at present. As a matter of fact it is impossible to find such a blade nowadays in such a perfect condition. The handle is made from
stabilized birch, birch bark, leather and a makume bolster. The handle impresses with its unique patterns.
It is 115mm long, 35mm wide and 25mm thick. It is also incredibly ergonomic, made in a traditional finnish style. The sheath is traditionally made from 3 mm thick leather and has a wooden insert. It holds the knife very securely, no chance of dropping out! There are some minor storage marks on the sheath. The blade has been professionally sharpened to a convex edge and it has never been used, just a part of my personal collection. Overall a perfect choice for an outdoor companion or for any nordic knife collection!

Blade length: 155 mm
Blade width: 30 mm
Blade thickness: 5,2 mm
Total: 285 mm
Steel: Krupp carbonsteel

The price is $200 net to me - this includes the shipping costs(registered mail).
I will ship to USA, Canada, Europe and Australia!
