Custom Firesteel, wood handles

These Firesteels have knife shaped wooden handles, each one handmade. The handle is aprox 2" long x5/8" high x 5/8" wide. The ferrocerium steel rod is 5/16" diameter with 2 1/2 " exposed. The striker is the highly regarded "super scraper" brand, hardened carbon steel, sharp on all 6 edges for a large shower of sparks.Included is a #18 braided nylon tether of oversize length. Cut it as desired or replace with a tether/lanyard of your own. Lanyard hole in the firesteel is 3/16". Hole in the striker is 1/4". The woods pictured are 2 Oak, 2 Maple, 2 Walnut, 2 Bloodwood and 1 Ipe. All hand rubbed with tung oil and weatherproof.
