Dan Koester, the maker of this knife passed away last year. My dad purchased some of his knives from his brother. He told me Dan had been making knives for thirty plus years. The quality is outstanding for price. I don't know much about knife except the obvious. It has black micarta handles, mirror polished ATS-34 Blade steel, and a really nice custom made sheath. There are some handling marks. Mostly from sheath. The knife is in excellent condition. No one has carried or used it in any way. Blade is 7 1/4" and overall is 12 1/2" long. Blade thickness is 1/4". I fell like it is a $500 knife. Let's try $250 obro.
