Custom fixed blade for under $50

I had a few of these that sold for about $65. Very simple. 1095 carbon, mustard patina, cord wrap, epoxy soaked. Kydex neck sheath. I could grind you another one out if you're interested.

Hey Frank!

Thanks alot man. These were a pretty popular seller for me, and fun to make. Let me know.

You can get a Michael Morris knife for as low as 60. They aren't exactly high end custom, especially since he makes them out of files, but they're not bad.

Beautiful knife, and extremely sharp. The edge also has a micro-bevel, and it is an ideal small daily carry knife. For those having large hands, please attach a paracord through the eyelet, and it will be a very comfortable hold. I have been carrying it for the last few days, and it performs all cutting tasks faithfully. Good luck Mr. Mason, and hope people get to enjoy more similar knives!

Josh - I think that is a screaming deal for a good looking custom working knife, with sheath, ready to go. Wow.

Thank you all so much! I'm having a blast at this knifemaking thing, and hearing comments like these are just the icing on the cake. Makes me very proud to hear such nice things from nice folks here at Bladeforums.

I have a little necker that's probably suitable for EDC which I brought for exactly $50. While it's not custom (ie-not made to order); I believe it to be handmade, unfortunately..I don't recall the makers name as he's not at the point of where he's marking his knives yet. (last I checked) I can tell you where I brought it though-he has a booth every year at Meridian's Steam Festival event in Mississippi (which is always in November, I forgot the exact day)...just don't be expect the quality to be that good.

In my case-it's made of unknown steel (as he was honest enough to tell me) ,has fit issues in the handle area, and could be a bit sharper. It's about the only handmade I could afford though, so I went with it.

I recently saw this knife, one of my friends carry this one...

What a knife! beautifully crafted. Simple yet useful...

great job!
