1) Newt Livesay HKR - brand new, obtained thru his daughter Joda in December 2006. 1095 steel, Micarta handle. Knife still has the carnuba wax on it Newt uses as an anti-corrosive - $225.00 shipped SOLD!

2) Newt Livesay US Marshall - very few ever made, this one comes with Normark custom Kydex. 1095 steel, Micarta handle. In super-mint condition - cost of the knife and two sheaths was $200, sell for $150 shipped SOLD!

3) Okuden (Brian Wagner) Sharp Thing - made from A2 steel, micarta handle. New condition, comes with one of Okudens kydex rigs. Very nice execution on this knife. Not many of them around either. Heat treat by Paul Bos. Cost was about $240 shipped,

How about $175 for this one? Need to pay for a plane ticket for Mom - she's visiting my brother's new daughter - how about $150 for the Okuden Sharp Thing? SOLD!

4) Sean McWilliams Panama Fighter 5 - forged 440V steel, micarta handle, pouch leather sheath.

The handle on this knife is a really impressive piece of sculpture. It was one of the early "tactical" knives with superb ergonomics in the handle and it's a shame his health went south. Mr. McWiliams is no longer building knives, this is a rare bird up for sale.

The edge was convex, some prior owner thought a standard edge was better. Can easily be rectified, I never took the time, however. I'll ship for $500 (what I paid and easily under market) SOLD!

5) Tom Krein TK-8 - D2 steel, Micarta handle, light carry and lighter use, has a couple hairline scritches, screaming sharp meat-eating edge. Sheath is set up for neck carry. (My thanks to Tom Krein for the use of his picture, as the one I took sucks rocks. )

Tom's cost is $225 plus shipping. I'll sell it for $200 shipped and no wait. SOLD!

I am interested primarily in selling, but will consider trades - I prefer payment by paypal, will also accept cashier's/ official check.

Gents, thanks for the interest - PM's returned, the Livesay HKR and Okuden Sharp Thing are available at this time

Specs for the Livesay HKR - #1

Blade - 1/4 inch blade stock, 1095 (his standard steel)
Blade is 8.75 inches from tip to choil.

Overall is a hair over 14 inches. If you feel the need to gut a buffalo or a Buick, this is the one.

Specs for the Okuden Sharp Thing (II) - #3

The Sharp Thing is Okuden's first knife design. The blade is approx 4" long with an OAL of approx 9", and is made with 3/16 x 1-1/2" stock. Blade has a hollow grind and is built of A2 stock, treated by Paul Bos.

Just a quick bump to say, for those who may not be familiar with Okuden knives, that there is a review and pics of my Okuden Sharp Thing II (flat ground version) at:
http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=371652

Also consider the sheath that comes with the Sharp Thing II. Okuden makes what are IMHO the best kydex sheaths in the business in terms of fit, finish, and retention. That sheath costs over $50 from the shop, so at Parker's asking price you are paying a bit over one hundred clams for the Sharp Thing II knife itself. That is one hot deal for a very rugged A2 user with Paul Bos heat treat on it!

willrise, I'll get back to you on the drive-time report - I just wanted to pop in and let folks know the Livesay is SOLD.

Guys, a little price change on the Okuden - gotta help Momma

I'LL TAKE IT" FOR $150 SHIPPED

THANKS
