Custom Griptilian blade?

Does anyone here know of knife makers who make custom blades for popular production folders?
My dad would really like to get a new blade (or two) made for a Benchmade Griptilian. He wants it to have the thumbstuds, but also to have a sizeable, usable choil. Probably made of S30V, as it has decent edge retention, is available, and people know how to heat treat it properly now.
So, I just need the names of some makers who do such work, so I can find out a list of prices to forward to my dad.
Thanks. :)

If there's a sub-forum more appropriate to this question, then if someone could inform me which one it is, that'd be great.

You could try in the "makers" subforum.

Good luck with your quest.

Kind regards,

Jos

I know just the guy. His name is Chase Axin of Chax Knives. He's making a blade for me right now.

Grand Leavitt at Snake River knives make some very nice replacement blades. Mostly damascus. You can find him on EBAY. If I remember right he has a griptilian right now.
