This match case started its life as a solid piece of aluminum bar. It has been milled to .0005's accuracy and hand assembled.
I will only sell one of these. I made these based on the specs of a K&M matchcase - but I added a few things.
This custom match case holds about 15 matches and a ferro rod inside. It has two o-rings that keep the matches dry up to very extreme depths. I submerged my case in a bath tub for two days and took this picture:
It comes with a 2 inch ferro rod 1/8th inch in diameter and a BCB button compass (the same kind used by the British Army in their SAK's). The case is hard anodized (type 3) and will not wear like normal anodizing. Type three is tougher than most steels.
I set all components with 2 ton epoxy and the cap has a striking surface on it's base. I tied this all together with very strong cordage. This cordage is used to hold the capsule shut even in the bounciest of conditions.
The price is 65 dollars shipped.
