This is a gen 3 hand-ground Hinderer XM18 3.5" Spanto non-flipper. Stonewashed lockside, originally satin finish blade. The reason I say originally is that the previous owner attempted to polish the blade, but used a "spine to edge" motion instead of the "pivot to tip" hand-rubbed orientation. This doesn't effect the usability of the knife at all, but is a slight cosmetic issue that can especially be noticed in the area of the thumbstud (area behind the thumbstud is original grain direction, area in front of the thumbstud is polished spine to edge). This makes the perfect user custom XM though! Blue/black G10 scale installed.
