This knife sold day after posting. Will post more (new at this- will leave post a few days so others can see my work)
This is a totaly custom knife made by Miles. Bladed is 1095 high carbon forged 5 inches long x 2 inches hidden tang style. Acid etched bear track and moose track. When forging hammered in bronze and copper so it has chemiclaly bonded with the steel along the back - only for looks has no effect on function of the blade. Handle is beautiful blue fossil walrus ivory with lighter fossil ivory end cap pinned on. Guard is custom carved and cast from a river barge propeller off the Yukon river and is two mammoths walking in a forest. Asking $350 plus $10 to ship in the US. Edge a little extra hard - back is softer. Purpose os for skinning and general camp knife. But not a hacking knife or pry bar.
A PS note. I am new to blade forum unsure of the - well how things work here. Heard about Blade forum from friends have friends here. I have been a knife maker and seller of knife materials for 30 years. Just not been out and about in the knife world much. Spent 25 years of my life alone in the Alaska wilds as a hermit mountian man trapper. Someone let me know then if this is all in the right format right place and all that. Guess I learn by doing - see what happens
