Custom JK and Noah sheath passaround reviews/pics

Hi Guys -

I am back - Mat, did you get the knife? I had asked my wife to send the package out for me (I know, I know - but I had it all wrapped and ready to take to the Post office, but she did not mail it until Tuesday.....doggone it!!!). Let's keep these passarounds going!

best regards -

Yep I got it and have been putting it through its paces. So far I have really enjoyed using it. I plan on putting some pictures up either today or tomorrow.

Who's next on the list for the pass around?

veubent is - I'd prefer if you guys contacted one another so he knows when it is comingi. I have his address but I'd rather not just have you send it if he doesn't know it's coming.

Let me know if you need help contacting him. I'm sure he's watching this thread though.

Grate looking little knife myright. I just ordered my first jk and can't wait till February, I'm definitely going to get at least a couple of them with some of Noah's sheaths. Grate pix and reviews Guy's can't wait to see the rest of them. to bad I didn't catch this thread in the beginning, looks like y'all are having a good time.

I just shipped the knife off to veubent this morning. My camera is dead, as in four or five pieces, so I was not able to get any pictures before I sent it off. The knife is a great little blade with an excellent sheath. I did not get to use it has much as I would have liked but that is the way things go sometimes. It did make quick work of some blister packages and a few other misc. chores around the house. Overall it was a great knife that had a great handle to blade ratio. At times it felt like I was dealing with a much larger knife than what I was.

Thanks for the update and glad that you enjoyed using the knife. Sorry to hear about the busted camera

Just recieved the knife this morning. Had it for about 10 minutes and got this sudden urge to use it. This is the first knife that ive had battoning within 15 minutes of its arrival. I cant get over how much I like the blade shape and the hollow pins.

Heres some pics. Ill get more as the week continues. Duck season opens tommarow here so ill get some game prep in as well.

Hi veubent -

Excellent!

I can't wait to see what YOU do with that knife!

Awesome!

I'd love to see it prepping some game and hear how it does. I love that blade, which is I wanted to share it with all of you. This is my first knife with hollow pins and will probably order them on all my customs going forward.

IMO - it's an awesome all around knife.

Hi myright -

I like the hollow pins too - I have never used them to lash a knife to a pole or anything, but it is nice to have the option I suppose, and theyjust look cool.

I am sure you will see a lot of pics of veubent putting that little wharnie to the test.

No dead ducks, things have been pretty crazy for me. I did take some more photos of the knife and the light patina that is forming. Im ganna ship it out today if i can get the next address. Ill get a write up and those pics asap.

The knife and the two sheaths showed up today!!
Words cannot begin to describe how cool this little guy is, and how excited I am to use it.
I'll get some words and pics up soon.

I kind of miss the wonder blade. I was checking out the Wharnie that John has up for sale and thought about your knife.

It's a great blade!

I think the blade shape is perfect as an all round utility blade!
