I tried selling this here before but have now drastically reduced the price as a result of offering this sword in simple shirasaya instead of a full koshirae mount.
I currently have a blade forged from 1075 by Rick Barrett in the queue to be polished by sword polisher Brandon Thell of www.foreveredge.com. Both are highly respected experts in their craft.
As of now the sword is one of the next swords to be polished in Brandon's queue. It will be FULLY polished and mounted in shirasaya with a copper rain-pattern habaki. The value of a similar sword is $4000-$4200 according to Brandon Thell. I have already paid Brandon the full amount for this package.
I am asking $2800 ***DROP to $2700*** for a quick sale *fingers crossed*
You pay me, we both get in contact with Brandon, you take my place in line for the sword I would of otherwise received. It's that simple.
Now, if you did want something extra like a more extravagant habaki or a full custom mount complete with koshirae, then that would be on you and Brandon to deal with. Just want to make that clear.
