As knife makers I see us looking at steel, showing interest in choices in pins. I do not see much discussion or thought going into a variety of guards! I got into making my own years ago. I carve in wax cast in copper brass white bronze. I have them listed on my web site but thought Id introduce them to other knife makers here. For $15 each this is about what we would pay for a plain unfinished guard through normal suppliers.

These are unique, have character, add value to a finished knife. Cast in sold metal brass copper or white bronze. Biggest issue I have is getting me to do the same thing the same way twice. I tend to make them, and move on to other patterns other ideas and not go back much. If I do I change it in some way to improve it. So I have a lot of guards on hand but maybe 50 all different. But all have a mold and in theory of I can find the mold and given lead time can come up with any of them again. Or make 10 if I was asked.

Raven $15 - below is what it looks like on a knife

Below is an indian face guard

These are all on my knife guard page of my web site and the best way to buy is go there and use the shopping cart.
