Can anybody tell me where I can get a custom kydex sheath made for my F1? I'm looking to get one made similar to a bushcraft style sheath with a fire steel holder. I've emailed Normak twice with no response....and with no phone number in site on his website I've given up. Who else does these things?

Thanks,

Jeff

JRE for leather

Survivalsheathsystems.com for kydex.

I have both and find no faults in either. Hope this helps.

Normark is the man...Great guy in my book and does great work. He is making up a sheath for my daughters new RAT-3 that I got her after she lost her other one due to a poorly made sheath.

A word to the wise...All kydex sheaths ARE NOT created equally!! Looks alone don't mean squat when it comes to kydex. Stick with a none reputable maker like Normark and you will have something that will serve you well and last a long time.

+1 for normark

great guy and insanely good customer service.

you can't go wrong with one of his sheaths.

Ok I also have a question about normarks sheaths. I emailed him and I respect that he is behind a little and thats fine. I was wondering if anyone has the mora 510 sheath. I have a 545 and im trying to figure out if that would fit the same sheath. Also, i read on his site that the couriers charge him 30 dollars per shipment on international orders or something like that. Does this mean that it would cost 52 dollars instead of 22 dollars for the sheath if I live in the us?

Hello..
mjduke...

The courier charge is only with UPS/FEDEX...
To avoid that I usually have my clients ship via USPS.. Never a problem...

Personally I believe the 510/545 handles to be the same. I think they are the same knife,, just one is stainless and one is carbon...

So I think my 510 sheath will fit your 545..
There would be no need to send anything to me, as I have a 510 In House..

feel free to email me though..

IMHO... Look no further than Eric(Normark) His quality and customer service is without a doubt, the best. I've been to his shop and have handled hundreds of his inhouse sheathes(Literally) I always refer my friends to him because I trust his work 100%.... and he's a good friend.
