I think diferentiating a custom order is important.

I think there's a classier way of doing it though.

Since you're laser engraving everything, perhaps simply changing the block letters "BUCK" to the old English script would be sufficient. It'll simplify the engraving process and add a unique mark only in the Custom Shop.

You could even ckme up with a circular mark with "BUCK" over and "CUSTOM" below the model number is a simple idea as well.

I think its more important than the model number.

Of course, I dont feel like assembling a knife (Spitfire) from a selection of pre-finished parts is a custom effort either, so perhaps my opinion doesnt matter.

I voted Yes. Mainly because I simply like the marking but also because materials like Buckeye Burl used to be offered in the Custom Shop but aren’t anymore.

I feel that the older the knife gets, the more important the marking becomes if that makes any sense.

I like y'all marking knives to help show what they are. the less searching I have to do to figure out what it is, when it was made and where it came from as in limited run or custom shop etc.....the better, for me.

I like Custom Knife Shop, it differentiates the knife and looks cool when you show your custom Buck to friends.

I agree with others, the CKS marking makes identifying a knife's origin much easier years down the road. And I like the look...it always reminds me that a single craftsman assembled it from start to finish, which is pretty cool.

Ah, that makes sense. I agree. The simplified marking would be better (redesigned Buck Anvil USA). ESPECIALLY if the old English script was brought back. That would be classy.

YES: “We would continue to mark the blades with "Custom" by either redesigning the Buck Anvil USA to include "Custom" and remove "Custom Knife Shop"”

And if not the above, maintain the status quo.
