Custom knifemaker interview request

Hello, First off, I am sorry if this is not in the right place, I didn't know where to put it. I'm enrolled in an advanced engineering class at my high school, and we were told to interview an engineer and write a paper about it. While everyone else chose stuff like automotive, chemical, areospace, ect. I realized that a custom knifemaker is an engineer. A custom knifemaker designs and builds a product, which makes them engineers. So I was wondering if one of you knifemakers out would be willing to let me ask you some questions about your work, not many questions, only 10 or 15. A young eager to learn mind is something worth encouraging. I see so many kids that could make something of themselves, and yet don't, that I feel compelled to want to assist a person that wants to learn. I don't know how much I have to offer him, but I'm sure I'll learn something from him in the exchange also.
