Custom Knives 2012, What’s your perspective on the past year?

Thank you for your responses. I'm pleased to get a good cross-section of opinions here from new and established knifemakers and collectors.
Things look very positive going into 2013. We have knife shows coming up (Las Vegas and ABS Show in a few weeks and the Arkansas next month) which
should help give us a peak as to what's in store for 2013.
